This document illustrates the General Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GCS”) that govern the access and use of the website https://www.lasala.it/shop by end users according to current law and e-commerce regulations. The term “end consumer” refers to any individual who accesses and uses the Site. By using the Site, the user guarantees to be over 18 years old and that the person receiving the shipment will also be over 18 years old. In compliance with the current laws regarding the purchase of wines and spirits, the Site reserves the right not to fulfill orders from individuals other than the “consumer” and within the legal age limits for the purchase and delivery of wine and spirits. Wine and spirits are not sold to individuals under the age of 18. The Company reserves the right to deny service, close accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.
The Site is offered as-is. Therefore, it is not guaranteed that the Site will always be online for navigation/use in its current format, nor that the software downloaded from the Site is compatible with the user’s devices, nor the absence of viruses or other defects, nor that the published material is complete or accurate.

The GCS exclusively regulate the offer, transmission, acceptance, shipping, purchasing methods, and right of withdrawal of orders for products on the Site between the Site users and the company La Sala- Il Torriano s.n.c. They do not regulate the provision of services or the sale of products by third parties present on the Site through hyperlinks, links, or banners. By registering on the site, the user agrees to receive communications sent by email to their email address.
If the user does not wish to receive offers and promotions, they can unsubscribe directly from the newsletter.
Through the e-commerce service, the Company makes available to the user the online shop from which it is possible to purchase the Company’s products. The Customer can view the Company’s electronic catalog and offers and make purchases, bearing in mind and accepting the GCS.
The GCS may be periodically modified by the Company based on the development of its business and the market, as well as in compliance with any legislative updates and modifications. Each update and modification will be regularly published on the Site and immediately effective from the date of publication.
PURCHASE PROCEDURE
Products listed on the Site can be purchased by sending an order as indicated in the instructions available online. The minimum quantity to place an order is 3 bottles.
Orders are subject to the availability of the Company, which therefore reserves the possibility of not confirming an order. In this case, La Sala – Il Torriano s.n.c. will refund the user for the price and shipping costs incurred. The photos included are indicative and do not guarantee the quality of the products. Additionally, the photograph does not always show the vintage actually for sale, for which the vintage indicated in the product description is the only valid one. The order is placed by confirming it and is subject to the payment of the price, taxes, and shipping and payment costs indicated in the order summary. The Order Processing Receipt does not constitute acceptance of the order. The contract is concluded at the moment the Company sends the Order Confirmation to the email address provided by the user.
The prices indicated on the site include VAT, and the transportation cost is listed separately in the order form and on the invoice. They constitute a public offer pursuant to art. 1336 c.c., however, the published prices may be subject to change without notice: the User must ensure the final sale price before submitting the relevant order form.
PAYMENT METHODS
The payment methods accepted by the Company are the following:
- RECHARGEABLE CARDS: rechargeable credit cards and postepay.
- CREDIT CARDS: payment through major international circuits, managed by Xpay by Nexi.
- PAYPAL: after confirming the order, you will be redirected to the Paypal site where you can make the transaction even if you are not a registered user.
- BANK TRANSFER: the transfer must be received within 10 days from the order acceptance date. After this deadline, the order will be automatically canceled. Once the transfer is credited, the shipment will be made immediately. The reason for the transfer must include the name and surname and the order number. The transfer must be made out to: IL TORRIANO SNC, BANK: CHIANTI BANCA CREDITO COOPERATIVO, IBAN: IT38N0867338050020000204565, SWIFT/BIC: ICRAITRRIP0.
All financial information necessary for the transaction will be transmitted via encrypted protocol to the banks that provide the relevant remote electronic payment services, without third parties having access to them. This information will never be used by the Company except to complete the purchase procedures and to issue refunds in the event of product returns, following the customer’s exercise of the right of withdrawal, or if it is necessary to prevent or report to the police the commission of fraud.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Every purchase made on the Site is carried out by virtue of a shipping contract.
Therefore, the risk of loss and the title of ownership of these orders is transferred to the customer at the time of delivery to the carrier, namely UPS™ and/or Fedex™ and/or Mailboxes™ and/or Logistics srl.
The shipment can be tracked at any time thanks to the shipping code that will be provided at the time of purchase.
Shipping costs may vary depending on the destination and weight. Local regulations may limit or prohibit the delivery of our products in some countries. Orders shipped abroad may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and taxes levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and taxes levied upon arrival of the order in the destination country. Any additional charges for customs clearance are borne by the recipient.
The Company has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
The Company declines all responsibility for delay in shipment or non-delivery due to force majeure. In such cases, the Company reserves the right to rescind, in whole or in part, the contract or temporarily suspend it until these obstacles are overcome.
Since customs policies vary widely from country to country, it is advisable to contact your local customs office for more information. Where customs clearance procedures are required, the indicated delivery time may be delayed.

The list of affected countries may change, so it is advisable to check the delivery availability before proceeding with the purchase order.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Any complaints will not be accepted after eight days from the date of receipt of the shipment. Any disputes will be referred to the competent judicial authorities in the territory where the Company’s headquarters are located.
Purchases on the Site www.lasala.it/shop are subject to the discipline of Legislative Decree 206 of 2005, which guarantees the right of withdrawal.
Returned products must be intact, preferably in their original packaging: for damaged or altered products it will not be possible to exercise the right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal is reserved only for individuals, previously defined as “consumers”, and therefore excludes any purchases made by resellers or by individuals who purchase for resale.
To exercise this right, the user must follow this procedure:
Send an email within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, indicating:
- Invoice number;
- Order number;
- Order date;
- The product or products for which you intend to exercise the right of withdrawal;
- Bank details (IBAN code) for the refund;
- Wait for the email from La Sala – Il Torriano snc authorizing the return;
Within 15 days from the receipt of the authorization email, send the products subject to withdrawal to the following address: La Sala – Via Sorripa, 34 – 50026 San Casciano val di Pesa (FI).
The refund of the products subject to the right of withdrawal will be made within 14 working days from the receipt of the goods. This refund does not include shipping costs, borne by the Customer, in accordance with Article 5 of Legislative Decree no. 185 of 22/05/1999.
In general, for anything not expressly written, the legal provisions on distance contracts apply. Any disputes are subject to Italian jurisdiction.
MISCELLANEOUS AND SUNDRY
CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
The Customer agrees and undertakes, once the online purchase procedure has been completed, to retain these GCS, which he/she will have already viewed and accepted as a mandatory step in the purchase process, as well as the product specifications subject to purchase, in order to fully satisfy the conditions set out in Articles 52 and 53 of Legislative Decree 205/06. The Customer is strictly forbidden to enter false, and/or invented, and/or fictional data in the registration process necessary to activate the process for the execution of this contract and the related further communications; personal data and email must be exclusively one’s real personal data and not those of third parties, or fantasy. It is expressly forbidden to enter data of third parties. The Company cannot be held responsible for false or misleading declarations and reserves the right to legally pursue any violation and abuse of which it becomes aware, in the interest and for the protection of all consumers. The Customer releases the Company from any liability deriving from the issue of incorrect tax documents due to errors related to the data provided by the customer, being himself solely responsible for the correct insertion.
PROFILING
Use of data for better and personalized service. The customer consents to the Company using the preferences expressed by the customer during online navigation and sending communications to them in relation to preferences, attitudes, and interests perceived during navigation, in order to provide a personalized and better service. The collected personal data will be used and stored according to the provisions of the Privacy Guarantor regarding communications related to data retention for profiling and marketing purposes.
